There have been so many changes since the last time I wrote in July of 2024 and there was so much to do, I am only now (in February of 2025) able to write on my personal website to let you know about those life updates.
In August of 2024, the Lord answered our prayers for Rune to be used for God's kingdom and we accepted a job offer 3000 miles across the country, from Arizona to New Hampshire. Rune took on the career of Men's Program Administrator at His Mansion Ministries.
All this time, I have been busy with packing up our home, selling our large furniture to help fund the trip, moving into our new house and settling into our new daily routine.
Below is a excerpt from the Lekk Family Ministry Website, this is a separate website we have set up as a way to update those who are interested in our family ministry.
If you'd like to have updates about our ministry work specifically, go to our website listed above and subscribe to the email newsletter to receive a monthly update with events within the ministry and prayer requests.
"From Sedona, AZ to Deering, NH: Our Journey of New Beginnings
Warm Holiday Greetings to all our friends and family!
As we write this, we are settling into our new home in Deering, New Hampshire, reflecting on the incredible cross-country journey that brought us here.
Our little family—Rune, Jocelyn, and Kane—has embarked on this adventure with hearts full of hope and a desire to serve in addiction recovery ministry at His Mansion Ministry. Here are the highlights of our trip and our first weeks in our new chapter.
The Road from Sedona
Our journey began in Sedona, Arizona, where we sold, gave away and packed up the remainder of the 6 years of memories into a U-box.
With all of your prayers for safety, a fully packed vehicle, and the car fully maintenanced from our attentive Pastor Dean; we set out on the road toward Deering, NH ready to embrace God’s calling.

A Stop at Colonial Bible Church
Our first memorable stop was in Midland, Texas, where we were blessed to attend Colonial Bible Church. Pastor Brian Fairchild and his congregation welcomed us warmly, and we left feeling uplifted by their hospitality and fellowship.

Magnolia Market in Waco, TX
Our next stop led us to the iconic silos of Magnolia Market in Waco, Texas.
Although it was beautiful, it felt very commercially driven and we very quickly visited before continuing on our road trip.
Family Time in North Carolina
From Texas, we made our way to North Carolina to visit Jocelyn’s family. Spending time with loved ones was a treasured part of this journey. We also celebrated Rune's birthday!
Gettysburg with Pastor James and Anne
Our final stop before reaching New Hampshire was with Pastor James and Anne. During our stay, we attended their church and had the privilege of exploring historic Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. Walking through such a significant piece of history.

Thanksgiving in Deering
We arrived in Deering just in time to celebrate Thanksgiving amidst a big snow storm with the residents of His Mansion Ministry. It was humbling to share a meal with this community, and we were touched by the stories we heard that day.
Christmas in Our New Home
His Mansion donated furniture to us and as we entered December we were able to unpack most of our new house to make it feel like home. We decorated it for Christmas with Kane’s help of course. The warmth of the season has filled our hearts as we celebrate the birth of Christ in a place where we feel so clearly called to serve.
Looking Ahead
We are eager to see how God will use us in this ministry and are thankful for the support and prayers from all of you. Your encouragement has been a light on this journey, and we are excited to share updates as we continue this new chapter.
Please continue to pray for Rune as he learns all the responsibilities of his new role.
Please also, pray for the female and male residents.
Thank you for being part of our story.
May God bless you as we enter this new year together!
In His Love,
Rune, Jocelyn, and Kane Lekkerkerker "
